Job Summary:

As a UAT Business Analyst on Assistant Manager grade within the Insurance Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects. You will be responsible for providing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, plan, execute, and report on UAT activities. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing test cases, ensuring the quality and usability of our digital products and services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UAT activities for our digital projects, working closely with stakeholders including Product Owners, Developers, and Testers.

  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and document UAT test strategies, plans, and objectives.

  • Develop detailed test scenarios, cases, and scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Execute UAT test cases, log defects, and provide regular status updates on testing progress.

  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

  • Monitor and report on UAT progress, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to project teams and senior management.

  • Identify potential areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of UAT methodologies and approaches.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UAT and digital transformation, making recommendations for adoption when appropriate.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Around 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on UAT or a similar role.

  • Knowledge of UAT methodologies, processes, and best practices.

  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies, particularly in the context of digital projects.

  • Understanding of digital technologies, such as web, mobile, and API-based applications.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
