Our client is a global, esteemed High Frequency Trading Firm. This role sits at the intersection of site reliability engineering and ultra-low latency trading. You’ll own, scale, and optimize the end-to-end execution stack for Chinese equity markets, ensuring the systems run faster and more reliably than anyone else’s.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency trading infrastructure
Optimize network topology, protocol stack, and kernel parameters for sub-microsecond performance
Develop real-time telemetry and diagnostics to detect and mitigate performance bottlenecks
Collaborate with trading, quant, and ops teams to translate latency targets into technical deliverables
Automate deployment, monitoring, and failover of trading engines and market data feeds

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience on the buy-side or sell-side in electronic equities trading
Deep hands-on background in Chinese equity markets, trading protocols, and exchanges is ideal.
Proven track record of driving performance improvements in production trading systems

Technical Skills
Programming in C/C++ for low-level system development
Strong Linux performance tuning: kernel, NIC drivers, DPDK, etc.
Proficiency with hardware timestamping, kernel bypass, and RDMA
Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast) and FPGA basics
Familiarity with SRE best practices: Helm, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana

Preferred Experience:
Exposure to market data normalization and FIX/ITCH/OUCH protocols
Experience with FPGA-accelerated trading or custom network cards
Knowledge of Python or Go for automation, testing, and orchestration scripts
Prior contributions to open source performance tools or benchmarking suites
