Technology Offshore Delivery Lead - Leading Financial Institution

Our client, a leading financial institution in the region, is looking for a Technology Offshore Delivery Lead to manage the service delivery across the offshore centers in Asia. The selected candidate will be based in Hong Kong, working with the IT counterparts, and managing the technology delivery standards for the offshore teams. It is a high-profile position that works alongside other leaders in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide management and oversight for the Offshore delivery center, focusing on Infrastructure, Security, Data, Software delivery management, governance, resources management, financial management, etc.

• Create a comprehensive knowledge capabilities map with offshore delivery center technologists, ensuring clear technology delivery capabilities are defined.

• Review and enhance delivery standards across infrastructure, security, data, and software, ensuring alignment with firm-wide standards.

• Establish and maintain governance, standards, and policies for the offshore team in line with the firm's standards.

• Provide clear situation updates and advice to IT executives on future offshore delivery management strategies and models.

• Foster a strong firm culture across the delivery center, aligning with the firm's strategic goals.

• Develop and implement operational standards, guidelines, and compliance locally.

• Occasionally travel to the offshore delivery center to build strong working relationships with the offshore teams.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in IT Managed Service delivery within a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Proven offshore management experience with teams of over 50 people in an offshore delivery center.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Expertise in data management, analytics, and data governance.

• Experience with large international enterprises and vendor-side exposure.

• Excellent people engagement and relationship-building skills to work with regional stakeholders.

• Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process experience is required.

• Excellent communication skills in English. Other Asian Languages including Chinese are a great plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
