As a Technology Innovation and Transformation Director, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic technology initiatives of a major life insurance company. In this senior leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative technology solutions to transform the business processes and enhance customer experiences. Leveraging your expertise in technology innovation, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and deliver results that ensure the organization remains at the forefront of the industry.
1. Technology Strategy and Innovation:
Develop and execute the technology strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and industry practices to identify opportunities for innovation and transformation.
Lead the exploration and evaluation of new technologies and tools that can positively impact business operations and customer experience.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement technology initiatives that drive business growth and operational excellence.
2. Digital Transformation:
Drive the digital transformation of our company through the adoption of advanced technologies and best practices.
Identify areas of improvement and create scalable and flexible digital solutions to enhance operational efficiencies and improve customer engagement.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of technology initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external partners, to understand their needs and goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technological solutions that address business challenges and create value.
Promote effective communication and collaboration within the organization to ensure successful adoption of technology-driven initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (minimum of 10 years) in technology innovation, transformation, or strategy roles within the life insurance or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and cloud computing, and their applications in the insurance sector.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation, and achieving business objectives.
Prior experience in collaborating with senior executives and stakeholders to develop technology strategies and roadmaps.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to make strategic decisions based on business insights.
Proven track record of managing complex projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
Certification in relevant technology, innovation, or project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, ITIL) is a plus.
