Technical Business System Analyst - Financial Industry

Our client is a prominent organization in the financial industry, they are seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst in their IT Division. The selected candidate will be pivotal in driving the successful delivery of IT projects. Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities from conducting business impact analyses and overseeing project management to executing quality assurance activities and providing technical consultancy. This position requires a strong background in financial institutions or regulated environments, along with exceptional technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Design: Conduct business impact analyses, capture and document requirements, evaluate and design technical solutions, and assist in process change management to meet organizational and operational objectives.

• Project Management: Oversee projects by identifying key milestones, assembling project teams, tracking activities, monitoring resources, resolving issues, recommending actions, and managing deliverables.

• Quality Assurance & Training: Execute quality assurance activities, prepare training materials and user guides, and conduct user briefing sessions to facilitate change management.

• Technical Consultancy: Offer technical consultancy to IT teams and business users, stay updated on the latest technologies, benchmark best practices, and participate in relevant educational workshops.

• Support & Collaboration: Provide daily user support and training, promote adherence to IT strategy and organizational roadmaps, and cultivate strong relationships with IT, business partners, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• At least of six years in system requirement analysis and IT project management, particularly within financial institutions or regulated environments.

• Proficiency in case management systems, business process implementation, web-based and cloud-based technologies, document management systems, data analytics platforms, and Microservices architecture.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with strong analytical, user interviewing, and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English and Chinese is highly desirable.

• Solid experience in project and quality management, with competence in methodologies like PMP and Agile and standards such as ISO.

• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java), data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI), and artificial intelligence technologies will be advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and act as a great team project player, demonstrating proactivity and confidence.
