Our client, a prominent finance firm. Is seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst -(Derivatives Domain) to support their Derivative Trading Platform from design to implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and finance, contributing to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge trading solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, and project managers, to gather and document business requirements for the derivative trading platform.

  • Analyze and translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements and provide technical guidance as needed.

  • Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement within the trading platform.

  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and deliverables.

  • Assist in the design and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of the trading platform.

  • Monitor and analyze system performance and provide recommendations for optimization and efficiency.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to derivative trading and incorporate this knowledge into platform enhancements.

  • Support user training and onboarding processes, providing expertise and guidance on platform functionalities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, specifically with derivative trading platforms will be a plus.

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of financial instruments, particularly derivatives, is highly desirable.

  • Experience with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.
