As a Tech Delivery Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technology projects within the Agency Technology department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution, employing a strong understanding of both technology and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, a deep understanding of the insurance industry, and a passion for driving innovation.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for Agency Technology initiatives, from conceptualization and planning to execution and delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring all project activities are clearly defined, monitored, and executed within the established timeline and budget.
Manage and mitigate risks, providing proactive solutions and guidance to ensure successful project outcomes.
Monitor project progress, identify dependencies, and implement effective escalation processes as needed.
Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams involved in the project, ensuring alignment of objectives and expectations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of partnership and excellence.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery and drive innovation within the Agency Technology department.
Provide regular project status updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement through post-project evaluation, capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices for future projects.
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the insurance industry or related technology field.
Strong knowledge of insurance processes and platforms, with experience in Agency Technology solutions being highly desirable.
Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese) and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
PMP, Agile / Scrum, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
