Systems Operations Specialist (7x24 Shift), Leading Financial Group - J13254

Our client is a leading financial group in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Japanese-speaking Cloud & Systems Operations Specialist (7x24 Shift).

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and core platform consoles, executing daily operational routines in strict adherence to standard operating procedures, security guidelines, and corporate policies.

• Execute off-hours, overnight, and weekend production job scheduling, output handling, and system batch jobs—specifically supporting Control-M and Life Asia processing.

• Conduct daily system health assessments, administer data backup routines, and process ad-hoc operational support requests from internal teams.

• Review all proposed system adjustments impacting operational environments to identify potential operational risks before deployment.

• Alert relevant technical leads during cloud infrastructure incidents, coordinate prompt issue resolution, and drive escalation workflows to restore normal service.

• Collaborate with IT project teams during new technology rollouts, platform enhancements, and special infrastructure deployments.

• Maintain service levels in compliance with agreed SLAs, ensuring zero major non-conformances across internal and external audit reviews.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration, or data center management.

• Proven technical experience across AS/400 systems, Control-M workload automation, Microsoft Azure, and AWS cloud environments.

• Excellent written and spoken English, paired with mandatory fluency in Japanese to interface with regional stakeholders.

• Full flexibility and willingness to work on a rotating 24/7 shift pattern, including overnight hours and weekends.
