System Analyst (Fullstack) - Prominent Finance Firm

Our client, a leading finance firm, is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer with expertise in Java and React. This role is part of a specialized technical development team focused on Asia’s financial trade market. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in software development across the full SDLC and have a comprehensive understanding of network concepts, particularly in relation to latency-sensitive systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support the implementation of various development and enhancement projects.

• Conduct systems analysis and development activities based on business and technical requirements.

• Prepare system documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, and user manuals.

• Ensure effective and efficient application support for production systems and discuss solutions for production issues.

• Undertake additional assignments and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related fields.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in system development.

• Proficient in platforms such as RedHat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Oracle/DB2 databases.

• Skilled in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, React, C/C++, Linux shell scripting, and Python.

• Experience with Cloud computing/AWS is advantageous.

• Understanding of the securities and/or derivatives industry will be an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in developing large-scale, mission-critical systems is a plus.
