My client is a leading bank, they are looking for a Server Infrastructure Platform Lead to manage their overall infrastructure projects and services. Exciting role with a sizeable infrastructure scale and ongoing projects. A challenging position with managerial responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Server Infrastructure management and operations across all the technologies including Unix/Linux, Windows, Middleware, etc.
Lead the infrastructure team to resolve bottlenecks, weaknesses, restrictions, and security concerns imposed by the current infrastructure setup.
Establish an infrastructure support framework for the system and network across change management, availability management, capacity management, asset management, and configuration management.
Lead the project team on large-scale infrastructure projects with smooth delivery and implementation, matching the requirements and expectations.
Ensure the infrastructure solutions meet functional and technical requirements with design and planning for future maintenance, cost, performance scalability, and compliance.
Work with external vendors and service products across project development and system maintenance.
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the technology team, business, IT teams, and service providers.
Required skills/experience:
Extensive working experience in managing large-scale infrastructure in a financial services environment.
Extensive experience in leading infrastructure service implementation and delivery.
Recently team management and IT management experience.
Solid experience on IT server platforms (e.g. Mainframe, UNIX, Linux, Windows etc.) services;
Sound technical knowledge across server computing, networks, security, middleware, virtualization, and patch management.
Strong project management experience in driving large-scale infrastructure projects.
ITSM experience in managing IT services and incident management
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
