Our client, one of the top buy-side firms in Hong Kong, is actively looking for a talented UNIX Engineer to join their infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be joining a lean & and hands-on team to support and manage their Linux/UNIX infrastructure plant.

Responsibilities:
L2 / L3 technical troubleshooting and support for the firm's UNIX and Linux environment (including mission-critical trading systems and infrastructure).
Scripting, automation, and tooling using Python, bash, Perl, and/or PHP.
Requirements:
At least 8-plus years' hands-on Linux or Unix support and administration experience (ideally Level 2 or Level 3 support).
Expert in-depth knowledge using RHEL, Solaris, or Fedora including performance optimization, system tuning, patching, etc.
Scripting and tooling using Python, Perl, or Shell (bash).
Other infrastructure knowledge and experience would also be useful: VMWare, Windows Server, Desktop, O365, networking, Storage / SAN / NAS, etc.
Excellent English communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a technical team and high-pressure electronic trading environment.
