Processing millions of transactions daily, their Point of Sale (POS) infrastructure is the lifeblood of their operations. To ensure continuous growth, they are scaling their engineering capabilities to modernize their core POS architecture, migrating from legacy frameworks to highly scalable, modern multi-cloud solutions.

The Role & Landscape:

Joining this high-impact technology initiative, you will serve as the core technical anchor and primary liaison for the POS modernization squad. You will balance business stakeholder management with hands-on coding.

• Act as the core contact communicating with the business on job duties, requirements, system design, and POS task progress.

• Spearhead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of critical in-house POS applications.

• Drive POS solutions revamp initiatives, modernizing legacy transaction systems to improve performance and scalability.

• Lead the design and implementation of improved system architecture to ensure robustness.

• Take charge of third-line issue investigations for the POS network, leading root-cause analysis for critical defects, and establishing long-term corrective measures.

• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all development and integration activities.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of senior-level experience in software development and systems analysis.

• Language: Must possess Cantonese language proficiency for effective communication with internal enterprise teams.

• Frontend/Backend: Deep expertise in NPM, JavaScript, ReactJSX v18+, and Node.js Express.

• POS / UI Technologies: Proven hands-on experience navigating POS technologies across legacy and modern Microsoft stacks, specifically VB.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Standard 2.0, and C# Modern.NET (.NET 8.0+).

• Databases: Strong proficiency in MSSQL and PostgreSQL.

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on capability in multi-cloud environments, specifically Azure and Alibaba Cloud (e.g., App Service, Docker, Function Compute).
