Our client, a leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage various Cross-border Payment projects. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for cross-border payment IT projects.
Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including developers, analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.
Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, including business units and external partners.
Provide regular project status updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions to stakeholders.
Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
Proactively identify and assess project risks and issues.
Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address potential roadblocks.
Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality cross-border payment solutions.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of external solutions into the cross-border payment ecosystem.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) as an IT Project Manager with a focus on cross-border payment projects / ISO.
Strong knowledge of cross-border payment systems, including SWIFT, SEPA, and other international payment standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
