Our client is a leading financial group in Hong Kong. They are expanding the network operations team to support the growing business.
Responsibilities
Deliver secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available network services across all global business units, regional offices, and enterprise data centers.
Lead major incident management, problem management, and change management processes to minimize downtime and resolve complex infrastructure issues quickly.
Direct day-to-day enterprise network operations, managing routers, switches, SD-WAN, firewalls, wireless LAN, VPN, IPS, and WAF technologies.
Drive hybrid cloud networking strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP, optimizing secure cloud connectivity, SASE, Internet Local Breakout, and unified communications like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Manage disaster recovery plans, network security controls, IT risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements across all regional locations.
Supervise network monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting activities while leveraging automation and AI tools to drive continuous service improvement.
Oversee third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and managing Service Level Agreements to ensure optimal delivery standards.
Lead and mentor the network operations team, establishing clear operational goals and fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Possess solid experience in enterprise IT infrastructure experience
Demonstrate expert-level technical knowledge across LAN, MAN, WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, and enterprise security platforms.
Hold ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent IT Service Management experience, with professional network certifications like Cisco, Check Point, or Palo Alto highly preferred.
Demonstrate hands-on experience managing multi-location data centers, hybrid cloud connectivity, and network security architectures.
Prove a strong track record in vendor management, contract negotiation, SLA enforcement, and end-to-end project management delivery.
Demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in Chinese language skills considered a distinct advantage.
Display outstanding leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to perform decisively under high-pressure scenarios.
Maintain a proactive interest in network automation, artificial intelligence applications, and modern workplace optimization tools.
