Senior Mobile Application Developer - International Financial Group

Our client is a leading global financial group, with a prestigious reputation worldwide, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building high-quality mobile applications, leveraging a modern web stack and framework-agnostic design system. You will be instrumental in shaping the front-end architecture and establishing best practices for the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain hybrid mobile applications using Cordova/Capacitor.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Implement and integrate REST APIs, ensuring robust and secure data exchange utilizing JSON and adhering to industry standards.

• Utilize modern JavaScript/TypeScript to write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.

• Work with HTTP protocols to ensure efficient and secure communication between client and server.

• Contribute to the development of a framework-agnostic design system to ensure consistency and scalability across applications.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Enhance micro-services architecture using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js to support scalable and resilient application components.

• Implement Identity and Access Management solutions to secure user authentication and authorization processes.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve the development process and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mobile application development.

• Proficiency in hybrid mobile development frameworks like Cordova/Capacitor.

• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with REST APIs, JSON, TDD, and HTTP protocols.

• Familiarity with micro-services architecture, particularly using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management practices.

• Experience in building financial services-related applications is a great plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
