Our client is a highly established, top-tier financial institution in Hong Kong known for its stability and strong market presence. They are currently seeking a Senior Manager to lead the firm's cloud infrastructure operations team, drive the reliability, compliance, and daily operations of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of the firmwide IT infrastructure's health, drive the schedule for system evergreening, major upgrades, disaster recovery (DR) drills, and maintenance windows.
Manage internal teams and external Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Ensure vendors meet their SLAs and that projects are delivered on time.
Act as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents. Lead the “war room” during outages, coordinate troubleshooting with vendors, and ensure root cause analysis is documented.
Ensure the platform remains compliant with strict banking regulations. This includes managing audit requirements, security standards, and operational documentation.
Oversee the operational budget, handle RFPs for new solutions, and manage maintenance contract renewals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Fintech, or related field
15–20 years of total IT experience, with a solid foundation in legacy infrastructure (Server, Network, Virtualization) and modern Cloud environments
Capable of leading technical teams in the IT infrastructure operations, running complex DR drills, executing BCPs, and delivering continuous improvement
Has experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for IT operations
Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
