Senior Java Software Engineer - Trading Platform

Join our innovative team as a Senior Java Software Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing a state-of-the-art trading platform. Specializing in equities, listed options, fixed income, and derivatives trading, you’ll be at the forefront of creating a robust and efficient system that meets the demands of today’s financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance our trading platform, focusing on equities, listed options, fixed income, and derivatives trading.

• Manage and optimize the reference data and pre-trade rule engine to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Implement business enhancements and adapt to regulatory/mandatory changes to maintain compliance and competitiveness.

• Provide L3 support to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java with extensive experience in object-oriented design architecture.

• Expertise in domain-driven design and event/message-driven architectures, including experience with MQs and Kafka.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJS, to enhance front-end functionality.

• Proven ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable solutions in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
