About the Client

The Role & Landscape

In this position, you will own the maintenance and deployment of the underlying enterprise Java framework that powers mission-critical financial applications. You will work directly on system-level architecture, module integrity, and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining core framework components, specifically underlying workflow engines, access controls, Single Sign-On (SSO) modules, and job schedulers.

• Managing application releases into live production environments, ensuring architectural lock-on and module stability.

• Administering and fine-tuning middleware and database environments, including IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, and Oracle DB setups.

• Providing 24/7 operational and production escalation support for high-availability systems.

• Supporting application developers and introducing practical AI tools to improve internal development efficiency.

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of enterprise Java engineering experience with strong knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, JSON, and Open API design.

• Practical experience configuring and maintaining IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, and Oracle Database.

• Demonstrated background working on underlying application frameworks, workflow engines, or single sign-on modules.

• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and shell scripting.

• Willingness to participate in 24/7 production on-call rotations (standard corporate compensation applies; no separate shift allowance).
