Senior IT Solutions & Innovation Manager - Hong Kong Conglomerate

Our client is a major player in the conglomerate sector. They are seeking a seasoned Solutions and Innovation Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a transformative and innovative mindset, providing solutions to business stakeholders and leading the technology team in delivering innovative, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and identify business and IT needs, transforming them into technical proposals and recommendations.

• Design, plan, and implement application architecture, with a focus on infrastructure architecture and platform services.

• Act as a technical architect to guide application and technology changes, collaborating with a team of DevOps Engineers, Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, System Engineers and Project Managers.

• Initiate and build AI use cases, leveraging proven AI knowledge to drive projects forward.

• Manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment and successful project execution.

• Review existing platforms to support future application and infrastructure design.

• Evaluate options for application and infrastructure design, providing optimal recommendations.

• Offer industry best practices and governance for application and infrastructure services across technology teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of IT experience within an enterprise environment.

• Hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, or a proven track record in driving AI adoption.

• Strong understanding of software deployment and DevOps practices.

• Experience as a system/technical architect with expertise in analysis, design, governance, and processes.

• Extensive knowledge of API management and Gateway Security.

• Familiarity with public cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Alibaba) and hybrid cloud models.

• Knowledge of infrastructure, including servers, databases, storage, networks, and security.

• Project Management qualifications (PMP/Prince 2) are a plus.

• Proven leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and thriving under pressure.

• Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
