This initiative leverages cutting-edge technologies and data science to enhance financial stability surveillance and investment research, offering a unique opportunity to work on high-impact systems that safeguard the integrity of Hong Kong's financial landscape.

The Mission

As our Senior Hybrid Cloud Engineer, you will bridge the gap between traditional infrastructure and modern cloud capabilities. Your primary focus will be:

• Architectural Excellence: Managing and maintaining a robust Private Cloud infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, load balancers, and complex sub-systems.

• Strategic Planning: Driving capacity planning, regular maintenance, and rigorous patch management to ensure 24/7 reliability.

• Public Cloud Integration: Providing critical support for Public Cloud environments, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Innovation & Research: Leading technical research and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) work to keep our infrastructure at the forefront of the industry.

• Operational Resilience: Developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans and system administrative procedures to protect the integrity of our data.

The Expertise You Bring We are looking for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.

Core Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the IT industry.

• Specialized Track Record: At least 3 years of deep hands-on experience with enterprise hardware and software, specifically involving VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, and Microsoft.

• Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and network security.

• Certification: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on Data Center Virtualization is a mandatory requirement.

• Education: A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Technical Toolkit:

• Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server environments.

• Experience with Public Cloud services (AWS/Azure) is highly advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex system incidents.
