In this role, you aren’t just building a backend; you are building the "super-computer" scaffolding that allows PhD researchers to backtest hypotheses against petabytes of market data. You will own the services that underpin job submission, scheduling, and observability for one of the most sophisticated compute clusters in the world.

Key Challenges
Orchestration at Scale:Â Design and implement software to manage massive compute clusters using an orchestration-driven approach.
High-Performance Tooling: Develop APIs and libraries (Python/Go) that abstract complex infrastructure into seamless research tools.
Systems Engineering: Solve "hard" distributed systems problems—concurrency, latency, and data consistency across global environments.

The Profile
Experience:Â 5+ years of software engineering with a degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
Systems Mastery:Â Proven expertise in Large-Scale Distributed Systems and HPCÂ (High-Performance Computing).
Polyglot Mindset: Mastery of Python and a strong interest or experience in Go for performance-critical systems.
Proactive Innovator:Â A desire to work with state-of-the-art infrastructure and a collaborative mindset to interface with Quantitative Researchers.
