Proactively monitor system health using enterprise tools, conduct deep-level performance tuning, and execute capacity planning. Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex database anomalies.
Ensure rigorous database security and compliance by performing regular software upgrades, deploying critical system patches (across DB and AIX environments), and maintaining up-to-date architectural documentation.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert, advising application development teams on optimized database design. Collaborate with external vendors and cross-functional IT teams for seamless system integration.
