They are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the architecture and build-out of a next-generation Global Data Lakehouse. This is a high-impact role for a builder who wants to own the infrastructure that powers billion-dollar trading strategies.
The Mission
You will not just be maintaining pipelines; you will be architecting the bridge between raw massive datasets and quantitative research.
Build the Foundation: Design and implement a scalable Data Lakehouse solution on AWS capable of handling large volumes and highly concurrent access.
High-Performance Engineering: Develop robust data pipelines using Python and modern libraries to ensure data reaches the trading desks with minimal latency and maximum accuracy.
Cloud Native Design: Contribute heavily to infrastructure-as-code and cloud architecture, optimizing for performance and cross-region availability.
Direct Impact: Build tailored OLAP and data solutions directly for Quantitative Researchers and Traders, seeing your work impact live strategies immediately.
The Tech Stack & DNA
Core: Python (Expert), SQL (Mastery).
Big Data: Spark, Kafka, Flink.
Cloud: AWS (S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, etc.).
Architecture: Data Lakehouse, OLAP, Distributed Systems.
Bonus: Experience with C++ is a significant advantage.
