Job Summary:
Our client is currently seeking a senior data analyst to join their data team in Hong Kong for the new client data initiative. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming the vast amount of data into actionable insights, driving improvements in our operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability. You will leverage statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and advanced analytics tools to extract valuable information from complex datasets.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and opportunities for analysis.
Design and implement data-driven models and algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets.
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and optimizations based on data insights.
Design and automate data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on customer data.
Preferred experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
Knowledge of client segmentation and social/digital analytics in financial services is a plus.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and skilled in using data visualization tools.
Experience with Cloud data platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
Demonstrates strong abilities in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication, accommodating both technical and business perspectives.
Excellent communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
