Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned "Manager of Managers" to oversee the operations of a cluster of data centers. This is a strategic leadership role, not a hands-on technician position. You will act as the business owner for the region’s infrastructure, managing a large team of Data Center Managers, Engineering, and Logistics staff.

You will be responsible for the safety, security, and availability of the infrastructure while driving financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and supervise a team of Data Center Managers and hourly employees across multiple shift schedules. You will be responsible for their performance reviews, career development, and technical training.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of network and server hardware to ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and availability.

• Financial Management: Own the strategic planning and forecasting for the region. You will manage annual budgeting, including Capital (Capex) and Operating (Opex) expenditures, ensuring cost-efficiency.

• Capacity & Change Management: Partner with global electrical and mechanical teams to support change management and ensure "infinite capacity" for customers.

• Incident Management: Lead the response to high-severity incidents, ensuring root cause analysis is performed, and best practices are implemented and shared globally.

• Culture & Growth: Foster an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas. You will be expected to obsess over team learning, critical thinking, and adaptability.

Requirements:

• Leadership Experience: Minimum 5+ years of people management experience, specifically managing direct reports and their performance. Experience managing other managers (Manager of Managers) is highly preferred.

• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial budgeting, Capex/Opex concepts, and resource forecasting.

• Operational Background: Experience in Data Center Operations, Critical Facilities, or large-scale IT Infrastructure.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Data Center MEP Infrastructure (Power, Cooling & Facilities Management) and/or Linux/Server hardware environments.

• Process & Risk Management: In-depth knowledge of Change, Problem, and Incident management. Literacy in security, customer data protection, and risk management.

• Soft Skills: Demonstrated communication skills in presentation, open discussion, and team coaching.

• Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or CDCP/CDCMP.
