Our client is a leading global retailer, they are currently seeking a Development Manager to lead and manage the development team to deliver their customer-facing applications. Your expertise in frontend technologies and leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects and achieving business objectives.



  • Lead a team of frontend developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to create seamless user experiences

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and provide regular project updates.

  • Develop and implement best practices for frontend development, including coding standards and quality assurance processes

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improving our frontend development practices

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality and efficiency



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience as a developer, with a strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing a team of developers

  • Solid knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular or React Native

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and delivering high-performing frontend solutions

  • Experience in e-commerce or retail industry is a big plus
