The Role & Landscape:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Python-based data engineering solutions.

• Build comprehensive data ingestion, wrangling, cleansing, and transformation processes from scratch.

• Utilize modern cloud services (GCP, BigQuery) to support overarching data platform requirements.

• Explore and analyze source data to identify integration needs, data quality issues, and core business value.

• Design and maintain scalable data models tailored for analytics, regulatory reporting, and downstream use cases.

• Develop backend services, APIs, or microservices as required to support the data infrastructure.

What We Are Looking For:

• 3 to 8 years of professional experience in data engineering or a highly related software engineering discipline.

• Exceptional, production-grade Python development skills tailored for data engineering use cases.

• Excellent SQL scripting capabilities and database knowledge.

• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.

• Fluency in both Cantonese and English is strictly required.

• A background in the banking/financial services industry or top-tier consulting firms is highly advantageous.
