Project Manager (Quant Trading) - Prominent Global Crypto Exchange Firm

Our client is a Prominent Global Crypto Exchange Firm. Currently seeking for a Quant Trading Project Manager. You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication across various teams, ensuring projects are executed within a timeline and aligned with strategic objectives. Ideally someone with extensive collaboration with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and Finance teams across regions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage trading-internal and cross-departmental strategic projects as a Project Manager.

• Drive projects from product initiation to go-live, developing comprehensive roadmaps for trading desks.

• Successfully deliver assigned projects with high quality and adherence to timelines.

• Conduct sprint planning meetings and effectively manage backlog and tasks using Jira system.

• Anticipate and escalate potential roadblocks, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.

• Oversee listing operations and collaborate with different teams on BAU/Operational tasks.

• Demonstrate flexibility in working across different time zones.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related quantitative disciplines.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a project manager or product manager, preferably gained from Banking, Brokerage, or FinTech industry.

• Strong understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, database systems, and system architecture.

• Excellent skills in requirement analysis and business documentation writing.

• Familiarity with SDLC and proficient use of Jira as a project documentation and collaboration tool.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Self-starter and fast learner with an innovative mindset.

• Keen interest in trading, financial products, and the cryptocurrency industry.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin. Cantonese language skills are a plus.
