About the company
A leading global financial services and insurance institution with a significant Asia footprint, running a group-wide learning transformation programme as part of a broader HR shared-services build-out.
The opportunity
This role sits at the centre of an already-underway learning transformation initiative — not a green-field build, but an ongoing programme with real governance structure around it. You'll act as the trusted internal partner ensuring the project moves through proper design and solution forums (Design Authority, SteerCo), stays on track, and holds the quality bar on deliverables coming from an external implementation consultant. This is a delivery-and-governance role first, and a learning/HR-domain role second — the person who thrives here treats project discipline as non-negotiable and is comfortable being the one in the room holding a vendor and senior stakeholders accountable to scope, timeline, and quality.
What you'll do
Develop and implement project management practices aligned with strategic HR goals, establishing standardised, repeatable project frameworks
Organise and facilitate governance forums — including Design Authority and Steering Committee sessions — to drive strategic alignment on design and solution decisions
Monitor project timelines, proactively surfacing and resolving delays or issues before they escalate
Oversee the work of the implementation consultant supporting the project, providing direction and holding deliverables to a quality-control standard for accuracy and completeness
Identify and raise project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across CoE, local business unit HR, and HR Tech teams
Prepare and present project status reporting to senior management and stakeholders
Ensure the project runs in compliance with established project management methodologies and best practice
What we're looking for
Must have:
6–8 years of experience in HR projects, HR transformation, change management, HR operations, or related project delivery roles
Demonstrated project management fundamentals: planning, scheduling, risk and issue management
Experience supervising a team or leading specialist work within HR projects, process improvement, or systems/organisational change initiatives
Strong quality control instincts and attention to detail — comfortable reviewing and holding the line on someone else's deliverables
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with senior stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, Project Management, or a related field
Nice to have:
Strong knowledge of Workday Learning or comparable learning platforms
PMP or similar project management certification
