Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a Production Support / SRE Engineer for their ongoing production support need. Perm Position with lots of growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Provide Production Support on existing Data Runtime Applications, Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Middleware Platforms.
Provide 24/7 Follow the Sun model on production support.
Work with the development team to tackle the coding and scripting to integrate various application elements such as database and software to run on the system OS and infrastructure.
Develop and implement automation and maintenance across the System environments.
Perform system and network, design, implementation, monitoring, capacity management, and support.
Optimize performance for applications.
Requirements:
Around 3 years of Engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
Good knowledge of Linux Servers environments.
Extensive experience in automation using Ansible.
Development knowledge and experience with Java / Python.
Write automation script using Shell, Perl, and/or Python.
SQL development experience on Oracle or Postgres databases.
Understanding of the concept of Messaging Middleware
Good communication skills in English.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
