The Company

Our client is a leading global financial services firm with a prestigious reputation in the Private Wealth Management (PWM) sector. Operating from over 1,200 offices globally, they are a market leader in providing bespoke investment advice and banking solutions to Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals.

The Role

Joining the Project Management Team in Hong Kong, you will act as a Product Owner/Project Manager, driving the firm’s digital transformation agenda. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, focusing on the client onboarding and maintenance platforms. This is a hands-on role requiring deep involvement in the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Oversee the development of the PWM transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with UHNW business outcomes.

• Requirement Engineering: Perform business analysis, prepare user stories, and define business needs with stakeholders across Legal, Operations, and Technology.

• End-to-End Ownership: Manage the full SDLC: from initial feasibility studies and requirement documentation to UAT management and production implementation support.

• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the Chair for working groups; manage resource conflicts and influence cross-functional partners to ensure on-time delivery.

• Platform Excellence: Evaluate post-implementation performance and lead the resolution of production issues to ensure a seamless client experience.

Requirements

• Experience: 7–10 years in Project Management or Product Development within Retail/Private Banking or Wealth Management.

• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in Client Onboarding, KYC, or AML domains is highly preferred.

• Technical Literacy: Ability to think "big picture" while effectively engaging in technical discussions with developers.

• Methodology: Strong experience in Agile, Design Thinking, or User-Centered Design.

• Education: University degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related discipline.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to communicate complex topics to senior management.
