Our client, a top-tier bank, is seeking a strategic Product Owner to lead Data Management and Governance. Sitting at the intersection of business, data, and technology, you will be a self-motivated leader with a sharp analytical mindset. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact data products, leverage your financial services expertise, and transform data into a core competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
Define and own the vision, roadmap, and Agile backlog for enterprise data products.
Act as the main bridge between Business teams, Data Governance, and Technology engineers.
Lead the end-to-end data journey from onboarding and curation to user consumption and self-service analytics.
Embed data lineage, controls, and ownership into product design. Lead data quality remediation.
Drive use cases on the cloud data platform (Snowflake) and support next-gen data warehouse migrations.
Identify and implement AI/Agentic use cases (e.g., Snowflake Cortex) to securely enhance data analytics and LLM-driven workflows.
Requirement
8-10 years of dedicated experience spanning data management, advanced analytics, product ownership, or large-scale business transformation roles.
A proven track record of successfully operating as a Product Owner within an Agile framework.
Strong technical foundation in cloud data architectures (Snowflake heavily preferred), data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and consumption layers.
Direct experience working with modern BI tools, specifically Power BI or equivalent platforms.
Deep familiarity with industry-standard data governance structures and data quality frameworks.
Experience in Banking or Financial Services is highly preferred
