Platform and Shared Services Architect - Leading Financial Institution

Our client is a leading financial institution with a large technology setup, as the Platform and Shared Services Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of the platform and shared services architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, define technical solutions, and drive the integration and deployment of innovative technology solutions. Your strategic mindset and deep technical expertise will be critical in shaping the architecture and technology roadmap for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable and secure platform and shared services solutions that meet business requirements

• Define and implement architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for platform and shared services

• Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement

• Ensure adherence to architecture principles and standards, including security, scalability, and performance

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of architects and engineers

• Partner with vendors and external partners to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform design, and shared services

• Deep expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, and API design

• Proficient in one or more programming languages, including C/C++, and Java, as well as web and network development.

• Strong background in one or more of the following: messaging systems, secure file transfer, and authentication/authorization technologies and their associated products/protocols, such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, ForgeRock, Keycloak, SAML, OAuth, and MTLS.

• Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and regulations

• Proven track record of leading complex architecture initiatives and driving successful technology implementations

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
