Operations Business Analyst/Project Manager, Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an experienced BA/PM to drive operations projects for the APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Lead Settlement/Clearing projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business goals.

• Elicit and document detailed requirements, user stories, and process flows via stakeholder workshops.

• Analyze business processes, identifying gaps and designing future-state solutions.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks with effective mitigation strategies.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications for IT teams.

• Oversee UAT, coordinate test execution, and train operational users.

• Track progress, report to steering committees, and maintain compliance documentation.

• Drive process improvements and digital innovation in Operations workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.

• 8+ years in project management and business analysis, preferably in APAC financial services.

• Expertise in Agile/Waterfall and business process modeling.

• Strong knowledge of Settlement/Clearing and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, MiFID).

• Skilled in requirement elicitation, user story creation, and impact analysis.

• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

• Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Tableau.

• An analytical mindset with AgilePM certification or Morgan Stanley system knowledge as a plus.
