Operations (Settlement) - Leading Investment Bank

My client, a prominent global investment bank, is actively seeking an experienced Operations (Settlement) professional with deep prime brokerage expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee daily operations related to settlements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to resolve any settlement discrepancies or issues promptly.

• Monitor and analyze settlement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in all settlement activities.

• Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Key Requirements:

• Deep understanding of the prime brokerage market and settlement processes.

• Proven experience in operations and settlements within the financial industry.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in settlement operations.

• Hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline

• Good written and spoken English
