Our client is a prominent finance firm. Is seeking a highly skilled Network Manager/ Senior Manager. You will be responsible for the Network team for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firmwide infrastructure - Network, storage, cloud, and external and internal systems.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Assessment: Collect and assess the requirements for network changes and implementations from various internal and external stakeholders. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business needs and technical specifications.
Network Change Management: Prepare, test, conduct, and properly document the implementation of network changes and upgrades. Ensure a smooth and controlled rollout of network updates.
Network Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate the network change and testing procedures, improving efficiency and accuracy. Contribute to the modernization of network engineering and service delivery processes through digitalization and automation initiatives.
Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with network service providers and other relevant parties on the implementation and ongoing support of the network infrastructure. Foster strong working relationships to ensure seamless network operations.
Network Troubleshooting and Support: As a second-level support, troubleshoot and investigate network problems, and develop fixes to maintain the high availability and performance of the network infrastructure services.
Team Collaboration and Performance: As a team player, promote collaboration within the team to maximize overall team performance and resilience. Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and support of large-scale, mission-critical IP networks and Internet infrastructures
Expertise in security, networking, and emerging technologies, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, SDN, SD-WAN,
cloud computing, and overlay network technology
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related discipline
Familiarity with network management and automation tools, such as Ansible, SolarWinds, JIRA, and Confluence
Experience in programming with Python and other languages for network automation
Possession of CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or CISA certification is preferred
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex IP networks
Depending on project delivery and timelines, occasional weekend work may be required
