Our investment banking client is seeking a high-caliber Java Engineer to join their Front-Office Derivatives Trading team. This is a high-visibility, "on-desk" role where your code directly impacts the bank’s ability to price, hedge, and manage risk in volatile global markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, high-concurrency Java code utilizing Zero-GC principles to shave off latencies.

  • Implement the Greeks and pricing models used to quote the products in real-time.

  • Provide application support.

 

Requirements:

  • Expert Core Java with a deep understanding of the JVM, Memory Model, Multi-threading, and Performance Tuning.

  • Strong grasp of Equity Derivatives preferred.

  • Fluent English to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.

  • At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, demonstrating a rigorous command of data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
