M365 Technical Business Analyst (Leading Investment Bank)

Our client, one of the leading investment banks, is urgently looking for a Technical BA to join the team and help assist with the analysis, implementation, and delivery of their M365 Program.  This is a multi-year program aimed at implementing Microsoft's M365 Platform for the bank across the Asia-Pac region.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with end users and business stakeholders to understand their requirements, pain points, challenges, and goals related to M365.

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems - identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization using M365.

  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements.  Ensure these requirements are aligned with business objectives.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications (including system architecture, data models, workflows, and integration points).

  • Liaise and work with cross-functional teams (including solution architects, developers, and project managers) to ensure effective implementation of the M365 Platform.

  • Assist with the configuration and customization of M365 applications (Purview, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.) to meet business requirements.

  • Conduct UAT and QA Testing to ensure M365 meets the defined requirements and business needs.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, helping them adopt and effectively utilize the M365 platform, applications, and features.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies, features, and updates. Provide recommendations for leveraging new capabilities to drive business value.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related.

  • Practical project and delivery experience (ideally 2 or more years) of Microsoft 365 Suite.  Technical End User / 1st Line support is a big plus.

  • Proven Business Analysis experience (communicating and working closely with senior stakeholders, gathering and analysing and producing documentation, etc.), with a technical focus on M365 technologies.

  • In-depth knowledge of M365 modules (Purview, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power BI, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to analyze and document complex requirements.

  • Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution design using industry-standard methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills (English and Cantonese).  Able to effectively work with stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Certified Microsoft 365 Associate would also be a plus.
