Low-Latency Connectivity Java Engineer - Leading Securities Firm - J13072

Our client is an established financial services firm in Hong Kong with an active cash equities trading footprint. They are looking for a strong Core Java developer to join their FIX connectivity team.

The Role & Landscape:

• Gather business requirements, participate in design, enhance, review codes and test the front-office market connectivity engine.

• Architect low-latency Java applications using memory-efficient frameworks like LMAX Disruptor for real-time order processing.

• Work directly with trading desks, external exchange vendors, and internal OMS/EMS engineering teams to standardize message flows.

What We Are Looking For:

• 8+ years of hands-on Java delivery within banking, securities, or capital markets. More junior candidates will be considered for an Associate role.

• Demonstrated understanding of low-latency Java concepts, multithreading, and framework patterns like LMAX Disruptor.

• Familiarity with FIX protocols, market connectivity, or cash equities trade lifecycle concepts.

• Professional fluency in English
