Our client, a leading insurance group, is seeking an experienced Life Insurance Technical Delivery Manager to oversee the successful implementation and delivery of our life insurance technology products and services. As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions into the business processes. Your strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of local and offshore technical professionals, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of life insurance products and services.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Evaluate technical requirements and feasibility, identifying potential risks and providing recommendations for effective solutions.

  • Ensure the seamless integration and adoption of technology solutions into business processes, minimizing disruption and enhancing efficiency.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.

  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise.

  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive innovation and process optimization, identifying opportunities for automation and enhanced system performance.

  • Conduct regular performance assessments, providing coaching and guidance to team members to foster their professional growth.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to life insurance, anticipating future business needs and proactively suggesting improvements.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in life insurance technical delivery, including project management and team leadership.

  • Solid understanding of life insurance products, systems, and processes, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results within agreed-upon timelines.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex rojects.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships at all levels.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as experience with Agile practices.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in life insurance technical delivery.
