Our client, a leading investment bank, is now looking for a KDB Developer for their expanding team. This role is part of the global team to build cross-asset Kdb+ solutions to support FICC and Equities businesses.
What will you be doing?
Developing robust, high-performance, unit-tested Kdb+ solutions, both tactically and strategically
Delivering solutions in line with the strategic Kdb architecture, which can be shared across asset classes when required
Working closely with senior business users to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Providing estimates for tasks, including design, development and testing
Liaising with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and manage their expectations of delivery
Background/ Work Experience Required:
2-5 years experience in Q/ KDB+ as well as experience in programming on the Linux platform
Development experience in Maven / Java / Git / Team City
Strong knowledge of Analytics / Tick Data
Ability to work under pressure and thrives in a challenging environment.
Experience in working with and managing relationships with business stakeholders.
Front Office/ Electronic trading systems development experience following agile and SDLC practice
Software requirements capture and analysis, system design and architecture, development and testing.
Excellent Communication Skills
