We seek an experienced Java Technical Manager specializing in Core Systems for the Life Insurance sector. This role involves leading the technical design and strategy for life core systems solutions and cloud migration. Excellent Exposure with a promising compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Technical Lead for designing and strategically planning life core systems solutions.
Oversee and drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment across all project phases.
Manage and coordinate onshore and offshore development teams and external vendors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of software development experience, with recent years in team supervision.
Proven experience in a similar role within the life insurance industry.
Strong technical expertise in Java EE, Spring Cloud, and Drools framework.
Proficiency in full-stack development, particularly with ReactJS.
Demonstrated experience with public cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Experience managing distributed development teams and working with vendors.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams.
