Java System Analyst - Global Enterprise

In our client's drive to lead digital transformation on a global scale, we are seeking an experienced Java System Analyst to spearhead high-impact initiatives, including the launch of new greenfield projects, the replatforming of legacy systems, and the integration of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role is pivotal in reshaping our IT landscape and delivering technology solutions that directly align with the strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of robust software architecture to meet both current and future business needs in accordance with our IT standards.

• Architect solutions for greenfield projects as well as the modernization and replatforming of legacy systems, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration.

• Champion AI innovation initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and implementing advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiencies and drive competitive edge.

• Conduct in-depth research into emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact and opportunities for business growth.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to extract detailed business requirements and conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including on-site surveys.

• Translate user requirements into technical specifications and actionable project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategies.

• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of application services, guaranteeing high availability and stability to support critical business operations.

• Establish rigorous support and maintenance processes to ensure the long-term reliability and performance of deployed systems.

• Work closely with global teams and business partners to ensure project alignment and drive innovation across various functions, enhancing overall enterprise agility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT disciplines—preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on systems analysis and design, including hands-on experience with both greenfield projects and the modernization of legacy systems.

• Extensive experience in Java (J2EE), alongside strong skills in Javascript/AngularJS, Spring, and scripting languages like Perl/Python.

• Sound knowledge of ERP, ESB, RDBMS, BI/DW, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proven track record in implementing and integrating innovative AI or advanced analytics solutions will be considered a significant asset.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• A commitment to continuous learning and a passion for leveraging new technologies to drive business transformation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
