The Role & Landscape
In this role, you will step into a mission-critical position focused on the maintenance, support, and incremental enhancement of a high-performance derivatives risk platform. You will ensure the stability of systems responsible for option pricing, volatility calibration, and margin calculations.
System Ownership: Maintain, support, and troubleshoot applications running on high-throughput Linux platforms.
Model Integration: Implement and optimize existing quantitative models, translating risk management parameters into clean code.
Full Lifecycle Exposure: Participate in testing, validation, production migration, and technical troubleshooting to ensure zero-downtime operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with risk managers, infrastructure teams, and IT security to ensure system compliance and robustness.

What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of professional system development or application support experience, ideally within financial services, tech vendors, or high-transaction environments.
Core Tech Stack: Solid development and troubleshooting capabilities in Java or C++, paired with Python scripting on a Linux platform.
Modern Architecture: Exposure to or understanding of distributed computing frameworks, microservices, containerized applications, or cloud technologies.
Data Savvy: Familiarity with databases, NoSQL, or object storage systems for managing large datasets.
Domain Aptitude: A strong desire to learn quantitative finance concepts (derivatives pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimization). A degree in CS, Math, Stats, or Financial Engineering is highly preferred.
