The Role & Landscape  As a Java Developer within the Operations Technology team, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end software development lifecycle of mission-critical systems.

• Design, build, and deploy robust n-tier applications that process high volumes of financial data.

• Modernize existing infrastructure by migrating and building new services using Spring Boot and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow across multiple internal platforms and databases (DB2 / PostgreSQL).

• Provide vital after-hours support for live trading systems on a rotational basis, ensuring zero downtime for critical global operations.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, offering a prime opportunity to learn and master complex financial domain knowledge.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally within a complex, n-tier enterprise environment. (Financial or Investment Banking background is highly preferred).

• Core Tech: Exceptional proficiency in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Frameworks: Strong practical experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

• Databases: Solid relational database skills, specifically with PostgreSQL or DB2.

• Modern DevOps: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) is highly advantageous.

• Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills; you must be comfortable tackling algorithmic coding problems and logical reasoning challenges during the interview process.

• Soft Skills: High confidence, excellent communication skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn banking domain knowledge.
