About the Client:Â You will be working on-site with a global banking giant, employed through a premier international IT consulting firm. The environment operates on a massive scale. They are shifting away from traditional reactive helpdesk support and moving toward proactive, data-driven "Digital Experience" (DEX) monitoring. They want to fix endpoint issues before the user even knows they exist.
Â
The Role & Landscape:
Act as the regional point of contact for endpoint detection, analyzing telemetry data to spot early-warning signals (CPU spikes, memory leaks, app crashes).
Perform deep-dive root cause analysis using device timelines and behavioral trends.
Validate alerts, assess business impact, and determine the right intervention: self-healing actions, user campaigns, or engineering escalations.
Partner with Service Desk and Engineering teams to triage real-time outages and provide data-backed fixes.
Â
What We Are Looking For:
3-5+ years of experience in End-User Computing (EUC) support or IT Operations.
Deep troubleshooting background across Windows 10/11, macOS, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Experience with enterprise telemetry, monitoring, or log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, Sysinternals, ExtraHop, SCOM, or Lakeside SysTrack).
Note: Direct experience with DEX platforms like Nexthink is a massive plus, but we will train candidates who have strong data analysis and root-cause troubleshooting skills.
Â
Why Apply To This Role: This is the perfect stepping stone for a senior desktop support engineer looking to move into infrastructure operations and telemetry. You will gain exposure to enterprise-grade analytics tools in one of the most complex IT environments in Hong Kong.
