IT Security Project Manager (Tier-1 Investment Bank) - J12478

Our client, a leading global investment bank and financial services group, is seeking a high-caliber IT Security Project Manager to join their regional headquarters in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to collaborate with senior security leadership and drive the firm’s security roadmap through high-impact initiatives.

In this position, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the IT security project portfolio. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business partners to ensure the firm's information assets remain secure and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT security initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with global standards.

• Security Frameworks: Maintain and refine frameworks that ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of the company's information assets.

• Vulnerability Management: Design and deliver comprehensive vulnerability programs in close coordination with Application and Platform teams.

• Security Assessment: Evaluate internal proposals and third-party services from a security perspective to ensure risk mitigation.

• Stakeholder Management: Build effective working relationships with business partners and IT stakeholders to facilitate security-first goals.

• Compliance: Ensure all projects and operations adhere to company policies and regional regulatory requirements.

The Candidate

We are looking for a result-driven professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex projects with high attention to detail.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT project management.

• Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated familiarity with Cyber Security topics and modern security trends.

• Communication: Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential for regional stakeholder engagement.

• Soft Skills: A self-motivated "self-starter" with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a team player.
