About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to drive complex application development initiatives from inception to successful deployment. In this senior-level capacity, you will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. You will take ownership of end-to-end requirement engineering, functional solution design, and Agile lifecycle management, ensuring that enterprise-grade applications—particularly within the financial and payments domains—are delivered with high quality, strict traceability, and total alignment with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end gathering, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements. Produce premium-quality deliverables including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), comprehensive User Stories, and precise acceptance criteria.

• Propose, design, and validate robust functional solutions, ensuring that technical architectures and application capabilities perfectly align with overarching business and operational objectives.

• Champion Agile delivery methodologies. Utilize Jira and enterprise project management tools to rigorously track requirements, manage product backlogs, and oversee the full project lifecycle.

• Orchestrate seamless execution across diverse, cross-functional teams comprising software developers, QA engineers, and project managers. Leverage strong supervisory skills to drive project momentum and resolve delivery roadblocks.

• Enforce strict end-to-end traceability mapping (from initial requirements to system solutions, test cases, and test data). Actively lead defect triage sessions and provide authoritative support across all critical testing phases (SIT, UAT).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• A minimum of 15 years of proven, senior-level experience in IT business analysis and enterprise application project delivery. Strong domain knowledge in the financial sector, specifically within payment systems, is highly preferred.

• Deep, authoritative understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern IT system architectures. Mastery of Jira and other Agile project management frameworks.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design capabilities. Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a proven ability to supervise teams and deliver results under pressure and tight schedules. Strong commercial acumen.

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
