Our client, a leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for an IT Governance & PMO to manage various projects and financials. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Portfolio Management:
Manage the bank's IT project portfolio, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and tracking.
Ensure alignment of IT projects with the bank's strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain project management processes, standards, and best practices.
Governance and Compliance:
Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate IT-related risks.
Monitor and report on compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, etc.).
Resource Management:
Allocate and optimize IT resources, including project managers, business analysts, and technical staff, to support project delivery.
Collaborate with HR and department heads to address resource gaps and needs.
Reporting and Analysis:
Create and deliver regular reports on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and compliance metrics to senior management.
Analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Ensure clear communication of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Vendor Management:
Oversee vendor relationships and contracts related to IT projects and services.
Ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels and compliance standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and governance practices.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT department.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the IT PMO budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services and projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or PMO role within the banking or financial industry.
Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Familiarity with banking regulations and industry best practices.
