Our client, a leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for an IT Governance & PMO to manage various projects and financials. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Portfolio Management:

  • Manage the bank's IT project portfolio, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and tracking.

  • Ensure alignment of IT projects with the bank's strategic objectives.

  • Develop and maintain project management processes, standards, and best practices.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate IT-related risks.

  • Monitor and report on compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR, etc.).


Resource Management:

  • Allocate and optimize IT resources, including project managers, business analysts, and technical staff, to support project delivery.

  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to address resource gaps and needs.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Create and deliver regular reports on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and compliance metrics to senior management.

  • Analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.

  • Ensure clear communication of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Vendor Management:

  • Oversee vendor relationships and contracts related to IT projects and services.

  • Ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels and compliance standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and governance practices.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT department.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the IT PMO budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services and projects.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or PMO role within the banking or financial industry.

  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Familiarity with banking regulations and industry best practices.
