Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic IT Business Analyst/Assistant Project Manager to act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. In this role, you will step beyond traditional coding to drive end-to-end IT project delivery. You will gather complex business requirements, design innovative solutions, and manage the execution of cutting-edge tech initiatives—including Data Analytics, Web applications, and large scale system implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Design
Requirements Engineering:Â Lead user requirement studies, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and system analyses.
Strategic Innovation:Â Act as a technology consultant to the business. Explore and present IT opportunities to drive revenue and business growth.
Architecture & Best Practices:Â Ensure all solution designs align with enterprise application architecture standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Project & Vendor Management
End-to-End Delivery:Â Partner closely with the IT Project Manager to drive the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Vendor Governance:Â Direct and manage external vendors, business partners, and contractors. Review vendor deliverables, manage SLAs, and oversee system changes (including coordinating non-office hours rollouts).
Support Leadership:Â Lead the technical support team dedicated to our Customer & Passenger Engagement platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.

What We Are Looking For
Experience & Expertise
Core Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in Business Analysis, IT Project Management, or Systems Analysis and design.
Project Delivery:Â Solid track record in managing the full SDLC, system rollouts, and hands-on vendor management.
Technical Literacy:Â Sound understanding of application development and data analytics platforms. Familiarity with Web Development, Video/Data Analytics, JavaScript, and Elasticsearch is highly advantageous (you will be managing these solutions, not necessarily coding them).
Industry Knowledge:Â Previous experience or knowledge implementing large-scale, complex systems will be advantageous.

Education & Certifications
Academic:Â Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional:Â Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), Agile/Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM), or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) are highly preferred.

Consultative Leadership:Â Ability to assume a technical consultant role, guiding business stakeholders and pushing back when necessary.
Problem Solving:Â Strong business acumen paired with top-tier analytical and problem-solving skills.
Drive:Â Self-motivated and capable of working independently under pressure in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Communication:Â Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an added advantage.
